Ive put alot of thought into the idea of extending the kitchen first and how to avoid problems when/if we do a full extend to the side. The opening in the kitchen to the hallway would be where the backdoor will go originally. Its not shown on the plan however i envisage a porch at the back door. You will see why ive done this when you look at the upstairs plans (i may have got carried away) lol
