Our housed was built in 1976 and these are our expections, open up the entire house and we have implemented the feng shui where we place the sink facing north and stove south and our doors for our front and laundry are both red for luck and prosperity. i do not like the entrance as its not very well placed but to balance it i will put plants on both sides to define the entrance. we currently have a flat ceiling and we will be doing vaulted ceiling to make the whole house look much bigger, also may add skylights. we currently have no walkin closets or ensuite so thats being added and sunroom where more plants, seating and home gym will be placed, i have a pool in another design which is my landscape and thats located out front while at the back is FULL of life and sustainable living where veggies and fruit trees will grow. all up we are looking at $250k of renovations not including furniture, what we are putting into this house is way past the value of the actual house but this will be my forever home till i die, as ive lived in 20houses my whole life and im 31yrs old and im tired. ive always wanted a place with lots of seating, plant friendly with a pool and big backyard.
