I figured out how to fix this. I first removed a small chunk of the front wall and then made a geometric shape that fit in that gap and color matched it. Since this tells the app that front wall is no longer part of a room, it made the wall fit under the roof correctly. Since this removed the raised porch floor, I rebuilt that with more geometric shapes and then applied the original textures to them. Note that this technically makes the porch not count as a room like it did before. Hope this makes sense. Enjoy your build!
