I tried designing a small house with a step-down living room and a recessed backyard. The combination of the room and the backyard is my favorite point. I assume that an unmarried man like me owns the house. The house has a tiny guest room which is not connected indoors. The house is really small. But, if you estimate the size of the house, you should multiply it by 1.2. Since I shrunk many furniture to fit Japanese people.
